Thanks to all of our volunteers who signed up for our 2009 festival. Your help allows the festival to raise money for various efforts throughout the Carnegie community. Plus, helping at the festival is a ton of fun!

Have fun while volunteering at this year’s Carnegie Arts & Heritage Festival!

We plan, coordinate, and execute the festival entirely through volunteers while profits from the festival are used throughout the Carnegie area for community efforts such as events and organizations. 

This year’s festival is Thursday, September 9th – Saturday, September 11th and we are currently scheduling interested volunteers for 3-4 hour blocks with children’s games, beer ticket sales, and beer vending:

            Children’s Games: Assist in the family fun & entertainment area by running children’s festival games and awarding tokens to children to use in the prize shack.  (Family groups welcome!)

            Beer Ticket Sales: Sell tickets for alcoholic beverages.  Volunteers must be over 21 and be comfortable handling money and making change in a quick-paced environment.

            Beer Vending: Collect tickets and dispense draft beer and bottled drinks (no mixing necessary).  Volunteers must be over 21.

Sounds like fun, right?  Plus, all festival volunteers get a free t-shirt and 2 drink tickets for adults.  Grab your family, friends, or just come to meet others!
